The Garden, based in Bristol, is a self-directed learning community focused on fostering curiosity, creativity, and collaboration among home-educated young people. Their approach emphasizes consent-based and democratic practices, allowing learners to explore interests at their own pace within a supportive and inclusive environment. Established in 2016, it is the longest-running initiative of its kind in the UK and part of the Agile Learning Center network.
